Some of my notes from church from the past month.

I love to take notes as I listen to sermons. I feel like I can go back again and again and reread things that spoke to me. So I thought I would share some. I am part of elevation online and go to northgate church locally. As I navigate the storm I am currently in I spend most of my days immersed in God’s word and this past month I have heard so many amazing messages. ❤️ Today was a better day than yesterday and I want to be able to refer back to this post for encouragement personally when the next hard day comes.

• This battle is not an indication of the power within you.

• Sometimes you fight against what you are supposed to be fighting for.

• We are defeated because we are DISTRACTED.

• Was saved, am saved, am being saved.

• Worship pushes out darkness.

• Your story is with glory.

• This isn’t your last giant.

• This isn’t the end of your story, it’s character development.

• Jesus, you know what I’m facing.

•Work out of healing, not your hurt.

• When you have doubts it doesn’t necessarily mean you lack faith. It means you’re putting faith in the wrong people or the wrong things. From now on, use doubt as a signal to talk to God and to get on the right path with Him.

• Psalm 139:14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

• Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust, lean on Him, He will make your path straight.

• When doubts , fears, anxiety try to surface stop and immediately pray asking for God to intervene.

• The greater your love becomes the greater the trust becomes.

• Romans 5:3-5 suffering brings endurance, endurance brings character, character brings hope, hope doesn’t put us to shame, God’s love has poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

• God NEVER makes a promise He can’t keep.

• After you have survived the worst there remains a promise from God – never will I leave you or forsake you. God never leaves us.

• People might leave you, situations may change, but God never changes his mind about you.

• There is great potential in your pain.

• Jesus is greater than your pain and shame.

• God is working with great purpose in your life. It is what you do with the pain that determines what it becomes.

• The potential in you it’s just waiting for you to trust in Him and Surrender.

• Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

• God has placed you where you are because He has something he wants you to do there. Do it with all your heart, and the Lord may take you forward into something greater.

• God doesn’t change but the way we see Him does. As we expand grow and go through trials we see as He is working in different ways in our life. He is progressing showing us who He is.

• There is a reason God doesn’t show you everything at once – it’s called Mercy.

• I am, I am was, I will be.

• There are two things that can keep us from trusting in Him fully. Your attachment to the past and your fixation on the future.

• You are wasting today’s grace fighting tomorrow’s battles.

• When God switches the form of provision your instinct is to resist it because you won’t recognize it.

• Everything in your life is designed to not only show you who is God but who you are to Him.

• God never makes mistakes.

• Don’t judge your potential off others purpose. Manifest what God put in you. Stop comparing yourself to what other people show you about their life.

• There are potential miracles in your pain/mistakes.

• The same potential that can make you great can be painful.

• When the grace of God has been released in our lives it connects us to God’s provisions so that we can experience all that God has planned for us.
